Helion IP supports the following target technologies;
Helion support all ASIC technologies, as our IP is supplied for ASIC in the form of fully synthesisable and
unencrypted RTL source code (a choice of VHDL or Verilog for most IP cores). Most Helion IP cores have been
fully product proven in real ASIC silicon, and the newer cores which are still pre-tapeout have been extensively
proven in FPGA hardware and simulation so you can be sure that the IP will work as expected right out-of-the-box.
Helion support all current and past FPGA technologies including those listed in the table below. Our FPGA
cores are specifically designed for each technology, ensuring that the very best results are achieved
by utilising the advanced architectural features provided by the vendor. Unlike other vendors, our FPGA
cores are not simply retargeted ASIC cores, but are designed for each technology with a full knowledge
of its strengths and weaknesses taken from our many years of experience. The external appearance and
operation of the cores is the same across all technologies, but when you specify a core for an Altera
device with Helion, it will not be the same internally as the core we supply for Xilinx....and vice versa.
This means that you can always be assured of a no-compromise solution, whatever technology or technologies
